Bid Information

SEALED BIDS
All formal bids (estimated value in excess of $30,000.00) for products and/or services are advertised by the Cobb County Purchasing Department on the Cobb County website, www.cobbcounty.org , on Cobb's Government access channel, TV23 and in the Marietta Daily Journal.

To obtain a list of formal bids visit Cobb County's website. To receive a copy of any formal bid package, note the bid number and contact the Purchasing Department by email: purchasing@cobbcounty.org, or by phone at (770) 528-8400, or by fax at (770) 528-1154. Bid packages may also be picked up at the Cobb County Purchasing Department, 1772 County Services Parkway, Marietta, GA 30008. All formal bid responses shall be delivered to the Cobb County Purchasing Department by the designated time listed in the bid package. All bid packages shall be sealed and marked with the Company's Name, Bid Name and Bid Number.

Addenda to Sealed Bids
An addendum modifies the original bid to announce changes in bid documents, such as the bid opening date, specifications, terms and conditions. In addition, the receipt of addenda is mandatory prior to submitting a bid (e.g. they MUST be signed and returned prior to the bid opening). Therefore it is in the best interest of anyone who is bidding, or who contemplates bidding, to contact the Purchasing Department to obtain any/all addenda associated with that bid.

GENERAL PURCHASING QUOTATION REQUEST - SMALL PURCHASES
The Cobb County Purchasing Department solicits Quotation Requests for goods/services that fulfill requirements less than $30,000.00 bid threshold. Quotation Requests are considered "informal".

Quotation Requests under $5,000.00 are verbally requested, faxed or e-mailed to vendors for responses. Quotation Requests from $5,000.00 to $29,999.99 are published through the Cobb County Purchasing Vendor Self Service (VSS) website: www.cobbpurchasing.org. Responses to Quotation Requests are due by the date/time specified and may be faxed or e-mailed to the respected buyer.

If you are requesting the receipt of a Quotation Request, please allow sufficient time for the quote to be mailed or faxed to you. You may also pick up a copy of a quote from the Purchasing Department.
